Yes, code injection is still possible. SP1 have not yet come. I am sorry to say that I suspect that you did not read my post. Memory curtaining is disabled by default, anti-code injection comes by SP1, and is disabled by default as well.

However, there is no reason that they are going to let it remain disabled…..

if we can still inject our code into a process, we can most certainly maintain the upper hand.

Now that I think about it, what about going for Mac? It looks cool and its GUI is cool too. You know, the row of buttons below the screen thingie. Just that there aren’t enough games that Mac can support, otherwise it’d be quite a good idea using a Mac instead of Vista.

Oh and one more thing: Vista *sucks*. Hell, you can’t even use pirated software with this TC nonsense, so what the hell does Bill(or whoever came up with the retarded TC thingie) want with us normal people who can only afford cheap, middle-performance computers and unable to afford such expensive spare parts to put in our computers for optimum performance?

Meh, it doesn’t do anyone much good, except suck more of our money upgrading our computers when the sole purpose of using one may just be reading email, chatting on online messengers, and typing out documents on Word, only to print it out, or just to prepare a simple PowerPoint Presentation. With Vista around, it’s much more feasible to use a typewriter from the early 50s or go back to using OHPs(overhead projectors) to present something using transparencies than to use a pirated version of Microsoft Office Vista(if there even was such a thing already out, blame my ignorance if it does).

The presented attack works using the custom boot sectors.Custom boot sector are modified boot sectors which hook booting process of the system & thus, gains control of the system.Meanwhile, the OS continues to boot and goes on with normal execution.

There’s always a way in. If they are going to lock people from kernel, they are going to lock themselves out too. If they are leaving a backdoor open to their cashcow, there is where we are going to break in.
